Stories have always been a huge part of my life. Living in a magical part of the West Highlands of Scotland, the wild landscape of Morvern's coast, lochs and hills have always been a huge source of inspiration in my writing and they continue to be to this day. Who knows what weird and wonderful creatures lurk just out of sight in that crack in the rock face or behind that tumbling waterfall...

Stories have the potential to let us explore big ideas, like the environmental crisis affecting us all. Stories let us find a way to talk about these things and these are the kind of stories I love to be able to tell. Stories are a window into endless worlds and creating those worlds is one of the greatest joys I can imagine.
